Lisbon, May 8, 1908. I HAVE the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch No. 26 of the 29th ultimo, transmitting copies of Memoranda respecting the mutual protection of British and other foreign trade-marks in China and Corea, and to report that I have brought the altered terms of the Order in Council of 1907 to the notice of the Portuguese Government with special reference to the Agreement existing between them and His Majesty's Government.
